November 15, 200519 yr comment_146057 I've got flat top pistons and an N42 head with a very mild cam. I run premium and have no pinging issues. It would be a shame to put dished pistons in an N54 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17927-whats-it-worth-e31-wsus-attached/?&page=2#findComment-146057 Share on other sites
November 15, 200519 yr comment_146061 <<Anyway, I think this thread is starting to stray from the classicz preferred topics so I'm gonna go do some research on hybridz.org.>>Enigma, it isn't straying from the preferred topics...a lot of owners here have put 280zx blocks in their 240z/260z/280z....keep talking if you'd like. IT IS NOT OFF TOPIC. hybridz.org! bah humbug. Putting a 280zx block in your 240 doesn't make it a hybrid. (IMO). November 18, 200519 yr Author comment_146397 Thanks Dogma. I just wanted to make I wasn't straying from the preferred topic list. 240Zman, good to know. I'd rather not be swapping pistons if I don't have to. Is there any issues using flat pistons with a head designed for dished? I know the other way around isn;t good. Just wondering. November 18, 200519 yr comment_146400 the reason you did not see a change by switching the E88 for the E31 because you need to change the block perferrable to an L28 or L28 turbo block Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17927-whats-it-worth-e31-wsus-attached/?&page=2#findComment-146400 Share on other sites
