Hi all. I figured i would create this thread for numerous reasons. First off how fast does a Z really go? from 0-60? 0-100? top speed? whats it do in the quarter mile? stock? modified? I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread where everyone can share their videos, times, and speeds of their Z and maybe get some competition goin... Lets hear it guys! ( and girls)

God I was dumb...It was on a 2 lane curvy road and I was lucky. I did think I was quite impressive to the girl in the passenger seat but I doubt it was true...

too many variables (What does "modified" mean? Modified HOW MUCH?), not to mention internet bragging, etc.

Nothing of value to be gained here.

now if you want to hear fairy tales.........Once upon a time I had my Z up to (fill in the blank) on the 21R runway at LAX with a 75mph tail wind. Boy was THAT a (jet)blast. :stupid:

I hate to be the guy that says see another thread. But I have to agree with bill on this one, we have gone over this many times. Like montoya says, it always ends up with an arguement of truth as well

My 73 with L28, dished pistons, P90 and early su carbs tops out at about 4700 rpm and 105. Don't know if its low compression or fuel starvation.

16 yo kids shouldn't own Z's damnit, that's for older drivers who've paid their dues. Teenagers should be forced to drive pieces of $^!# by law.

im 17 and im completely restoring my z that my dad gave me... whats wrong with that?

Thats what everyone told my dad. I have spun it once, and got pulled over doing 62 in a 45.

One of the guys that told my dad that was doing 105 on a Ninja and rear ended a semi tailer in a school zone. Evan old peaple can be fools

Remind me to move to a different country when you get that "law" passed.

And if my son has enough money when he's sixteen and wants a Z then he WILL have one. You would have, so why the double standard?
