Phacade Posted May 30, 2002 Share #1 Posted May 30, 2002 Now mind you that I am absolutly broke and could not afford a new Z if I wanted to. I was looking around, window shopping if you will, and ran upon a couple of VERY nice 280ZX cars. It certainly would be nice to have a playmate for my Z. I was thinking, fantasizing actually:Chevy 350 -w- T56 6-speed. Ram air. R230 rear end. [sigh]I know, I should be flirting with the idea. Probably shouldn't be listening to those guys at www.hybridz.org at all.

Phacade Posted June 2, 2002 Author Share #3 Posted June 2, 2002 So how bad is it?
Zvoiture Posted June 3, 2002 Share #4 Posted June 3, 2002 Well, its empty for starters. No drivetrain. Interior is stripped. Some rust here and there. A few dents here and there, but no bondo. The car does not appear to have ever been wrecked, but it is a bit banged up. Original paint (609). It's pretty bad. It's going to the crusher as soon as I get anything else valuable off it. I got it for free just for the master and clutch cylinders and steering rack. But it rolls. That's about all it does.steve77
Phacade Posted June 3, 2002 Author Share #5 Posted June 3, 2002 Yipe! Yipe! Yipe! Thanks but it does seem a bit far to go for a rolling chassis. California is what, 1500 miles from Oklahoma?
