Posted November 9, 200519 yr comment_145326 Hi Guys, I have a basically stock 75' 280Z and I was just wondering what I could put in to get a little more power off the line from my L28. The only things I have done to the car is heavy gauge wires, new plugs, and a K&N Cold air induction system. If you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. November 9, 200519 yr comment_145329 Just the normal hot rod stuff. Here's a site with good info, but don't consider it to be the absolute last word. Should give you some ideas, though.http://www.geocities.com/zgarage2001/engine.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17956-power/#findComment-145329 Share on other sites
November 14, 200519 yr comment_145945 First and foremost I would say the best thing that you could do to get a little more off the line, is basically fine tune your car. Properly adjust your valves, run a hotter set of plugs, with properly adjusted gap. Better coil, good wires, clean fuel filter, a good cap and rotor with brass inserts is always better. Make sure shes in good tune basically, that is the first and best upgrade you can do.
