I just wanted to send out a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who contributes to this site as well as those who keep it running. Thanks to all of you and the info you so willingly share with the rest of us Z-newbies , I was able to learn enough to find a great Z to start with and begin my quest to build the Z of my dreams.

I have just completed the first of many planned projects(280ZX dizzy swap) and started on the second(suspension refresh). So far I have removed the front and rear suspension components and begun the process of taking everything down to bare metal to prep for patinting. I am curently the proud owner of a 1973 Datsun 240Z hovercraft.

As a part of the refresh I will be replacing what are supposedly Mulholland struts(probably fine) and sagging stock springs with Tokico HP struts and mathcing springs, Energy Suspension bushings all around, and new ball joints. Next on the list is a carb refresh using the Z-Therapy SU Tune-up Kit, cosmetic engine refresh(yank, strip paint), and building of a custom headlight loom. Not much else to do after that but drive it a bit, although I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Unfortunately it will all have to wait for a week while I head out to Hawaii for a week of rest and relaxa......wait, I mean work. See you soon.
