Spare tire wheel well

Greetings! I'm new to the forum and from the various threads I've perused, most people here really know their stuff.

I have a 1976 280Z car that is a very strange egg.

Background story: Bought it off ebay for a "cheap" price. Drove it from Seattle, WA, to Memphis, TN and was almost killed by the exhaust fumes. After looking around, found a rust hole in the back hatch AND the spare tire wheel well was totaly rusted through.

I've looked all over for replacement wheel well sheet metal, but cannot find one. Any suggestions? this is the well in which the actual spare tire resides. (Called on place today and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about)

Any help would be appreciated. Also, I'd like to just replace the back hatch completely. anyone with a spare/parts car they would be willing to part with?

To pm click on the users name in the thread, one of the choices in the pull down is send " " a privet message, click on that and go! There are other ways but that is the easiest for me.

I have a 72 240 about to leave this world that has a good spare tire well if you are interested, don't know if it will replace a 280 well correctly or not though.
