78 280Z emissions nightmare.... (HELP!!!)

Yep, turned out to be a pretty simple, but

totally NOT obvious solution. Now my car

runs like hot damn and if you're not afraid

to rev it up it, this baby's long legs will let

me beat many, many other so-called sports

cars -- especially in the 60-120mph range.

Had one person here bothered showing any

interest whatsoever with my problem, I

would gladly share the solution here, but

sadly not even a frickin' bone was tossed

my way, so you can all go and suck your

tailpipes and get a hot rod for all I care.

I didn't see your first post , sorry . I don't know squat about injection , most likely I would not have posted to the thread any way.. Sorry you are disappointed and glad you have solved your problem . Gary

I'm not even glad that you solved your problem. I mean it's good for you that you did but your attitude is unwarranted. Could it possibly be that you didn't state the problem clearly enough for people to understand it? We'll never know now since you've edited the post.

Maybe no one had the answer......I am sure you did not read a bunch of bullsh*t answers of guesses. Many have read....and most did not have the answer. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I got a 78 sitting in the driveway with a PNO for over a year due to no smog cert....that is life.

Like Ma always said, "if you don't like the answer, don't ask the question"

Keep in mind that attitude is EVERYTHING. If your attitude sucks, so will the answers. Patiences are a virtue around here and if you don't have patiences, you're driving the wrong car.

I dunno, my wife's a nurse, and from what she tells me, patients are more of a pain in the rear :P . Unfortunately, understaffing at the hospital has resulted in more patients that she can reasonably handle, but she is still driving a '91 Altima. Nothing against the Altima, but I think the patient load should warrant a 350Z:D ! She also has a strict policy against patients in her car:ogre: .

Grouping all of our membership with the potentially few who MAY have read your post and MAY have known the answer really speaks of your judgement.

I didn't see your first post, and may not have known the answer if I had.

I don't know how you treat the people you invite in your garage, but if I get a dumb look from a buddy when I ask him a question, I won't be angrily telling him he is a tail pipe sucking moron when I didn't know the answer either!

Something that has always bugged me with new members, or any member for that matter is, they want alot of answers without any effort, other than posting a question and won't even take the time to fill out their public profile!!!? Your public profile is a great tool for all participating members....it lets one know what part of the world you are located, your age, and what you do as well as your interests, beyound Zs. Its much easier to reply if you have some idea who you are relying to!:disappoin

So I guess you could say that Ken's wife has no patience with patients.:classic: Enough picking on Dave's spelling. Dezeezed, I think Will's closing paragraph says it all. Sarcasm, anger, and attitude. If any of that came through in your original post, small wonder no one answered.

Dude I probaly wouldnt know they ansewer but, this is a very open site open to pretty much everybody, I see you are very new to this site as most of us are but I really don't think this is a very good first impression to the people on this site that you are asking help from. Just keep in mind if you want results you HAVE to look around on the archive here ( because it is really great) before you make a post. I am pretty new to this site and have learned straight up from the people here Sblake01 and others that you have to look into other resources before you make a post. So my advice to you is look around, maybe someone has even made a thread asking the same question. Ian
