Posted November 21, 200519 yr comment_146734 Check out the competition faced by the Brisbane Graham-Robertson combo in their 260Z. Richard G's second rally event of any kind, Dave R's first as navigator yet they finished 6th overall, bloody brilliant Nothing fancy about the 260, Bilstein shocks, triple Webers, good cam, (restricted to 7" wide wheels ) the usual modest budget setup. Nothing when compared with the big dollar Porkas. Richard keeps his eye in during the year by doing circuit Sprints, nothing much else. Great work, shows that the S30 can still be competitive in any company Results link here http://www.classicadelaide.com.au/ca/results/results05/r_main.asp Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18103-classic-adelaide-targa-results/ Share on other sites
November 22, 200519 yr comment_146745 What about the Galley/Stean 240Z? Surely they're worth a mention too seeing as they placed third!! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18103-classic-adelaide-targa-results/#findComment-146745 Share on other sites
November 22, 200519 yr Author comment_146749 They did great too, different class though, not outright. Anyway, I'm not stopping anyone else mentioning others, go for it Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18103-classic-adelaide-targa-results/#findComment-146749 Share on other sites
November 22, 200519 yr Author comment_146823 Hehe, there is a mistake in the results apparently, the Brissy boys didn't make 6th overall. Whatever, they did terrific Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18103-classic-adelaide-targa-results/#findComment-146823 Share on other sites
