lonetreesteve Posted November 27, 2005 Share #3 Posted November 27, 2005 Mohamed,It looks like you started out checking the right places (Victoria British & Motorsport). If you think they are too expensive, you may try doing a Google search or look on Ebay. Good luck!
gnosez Posted November 28, 2005 Share #4 Posted November 28, 2005 VB has them listed at $19.95US each ($39.90 total) for part # 62-010/011 plus shipping
=Enigma= Posted November 28, 2005 Share #5 Posted November 28, 2005 That sounds more like it. I was actually surprised how little they cost since you have to by the whole rod instead of just the rod ends like many other cars.
LB260Z Posted November 28, 2005 Share #6 Posted November 28, 2005 I just replaced mine (from motorsport) and they were cheap! less than 20 bucks each.
gnosez Posted November 28, 2005 Share #7 Posted November 28, 2005 Now the cost differences between the outer tie rod and the inner are enough to make you cry.....

gnosez Posted December 3, 2005 Share #9 Posted December 3, 2005 Your inner is okay if it stays up by itself. As to Victoria British, their website is: www.victoriabritish.com The outer tie rods are as follows: 1) 62-010 (LH) $19.952) 62-011 (RH) $19.953) 79-813 grease fittings (order 2) $0.95/each

HizAndHerz Posted December 5, 2005 Share #11 Posted December 5, 2005 Unfortunately, MSA and VB do not have their full catalogs online. You have to get a printed catalog. I'd offer to look up part numbers for you, but someone borrowed my copies.
montoya_fan01 Posted December 6, 2005 Share #12 Posted December 6, 2005 is there any good approved spare parts agent that sells parts for 280Z with reasonable prices and able to ship? Mohamed:I'm wondering what you mean by "approved". By whom? Nissan? They don't approve any parts unless they are sold by Nissan. MSA (Motorsport Auto) and V.B. (Victoria British) can supply you with most parts you might need, but as others have said, you'll need a paper catalog to see all that they have available.
