Posted November 26, 200519 yr comment_147287 so i bought some studded tires today, they are the same size as my tire that i have on there now but instead of having them switched on the wheels my dad wants me to find a cheap set of wheels to put the studs on. my question it, what wheels from other cars will fit on a 280z? what is the bolt pattern 4x100? and what is the backspacing? i found alot of honda wheels and such. November 26, 200519 yr comment_147294 4 x 4.5" or 4 x114.3mm IIRC. The Honda wheels wont fit. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18148-wheels/#findComment-147294 Share on other sites
November 27, 200519 yr comment_147389 Gotta be rear drive offset. You need to find wheels from a Z, old rear drive Celica, early rear drive 810/Maxima, etc. No wheels from any front drive car will work. December 2, 200519 yr comment_147784 You can also try MGB wheels, as they will fit as well. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18148-wheels/#findComment-147784 Share on other sites
December 2, 200519 yr comment_147787 Early Ford rims would fit also. Had a set on my 78 280 back in the early 80's. I think they were off an old Mustang.FWIWVicky Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18148-wheels/#findComment-147787 Share on other sites
