Posted November 27, 200519 yr comment_147520 On this site: http://www.upgrademotoring.com/performance/240z.htm, there are cams from a company called JUN.? I am assuming it is Japanese. These cams are long durration, the shortest is 296 and they go to 314 or so, but the lift on these cams is only in the .350" range. Usually cams with that type of durration are in the high .400's" to .600"+ range. What type of power curve would this type of cam produce? Is this unusual or am I not reading something right. They are very pricey too. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18178-odd-cam-durationlift-combos/ Share on other sites
November 28, 200519 yr comment_147532 They're probably quoting the ACTUAL lift. What you're used to seeing is the lift x the rocker ratio of 1.5. So a .350" lift at the cam lobe is .525" when you actually get to the valve due to the rocker ratio. That's my guess anyway.
