If there is inventory on a shelf there are only two reasons not to LOAN a set of the lenses to MIke or another well versed 240Z owner and impartial member the lenses for review.

The TIR web page specifically says:

NOTE: Product will be ship January 11th 2006 and we will pay the S/H within the USA for International purchases please inquire on the S/H charges

I am pleased that someone needs a set of 240Z euro lenses. I applaud TIR for making them available. I cannot understand why anyone with a standard 240Z would ever use these lenses. I cannot understand why anyone would put these "type" small taillights that look patheticallly "home built" on a car that has a beautifully moulded taillight lense. (Honda, Toyota, Nissan, etc.) Kids do the damdest things!:disappoin

Has any member bought a pair of the reproduction lenses from Mr. Thacker?

I still would like to know the differences between "as close as Nissan would let us come" and OEM!

If you have a set, please take and post some detailed pictures...as it appears Mr. Thacker is not as pround of his reproductions as A $90K investment in perfect molds would make me.
