Hi all,

I had the site down for a few days while I ran some upgrades and server maintenance. Sorry you didn't get sufficient notification of the maintenance, but, it was something I had to do this week.

There are probably a few little bugs here and there, so, please be sure to post a message in our forums if you find one. Thanks!

Yep, the shoutbox is gone. I'm going to bring it back when I can restrict it to "members only" and show the usernames. It was being abused.

The old journal module is gone. But, there is a new one that will be updated and never lost again. The old data is retrieveable, but, I will have to email it to you guys. Problem is the old module wasn't supported by anyone but me. I lost the integration ability when we went to a new forum software.

The new journal will always be maintained and the data will continue forward no matter which packages I decide to go with.

Mike, Is this journal going to be public (like Schevets suggested) or private? It would make a big difference to some of us in terms of what, and how it would be utilized.

I wouldn't want everything I might enter in that journal to be public knowledge. (security system info, sleeper modifications, etc.)

Because it's conveniant to locate such info on this site [if it's your home page as well]. The last journal had both public and private facilities, I guess the new one would be the same. I used both and would be reluctant to publish to the world my private notes.

for MY benefit! Just like the old journal. A place for a member to keep Z related stuff for his/her own reference.

Why would you want access to information on anyone else's car? If you have a question, you can ask it & people will answer specifically.

Seems a little presumptous to expect other people to maintain journals for the benefit of others. Not to mention nosey to want to walk through other peoples journals.

B I N G O ! ! !

Ok, thats understandable. I see your point

Just out of curiosity, do we have a limit on the amount of space we can use on our domain? I know that our server is owned by someone else, but what kind of space do you (Mike) have to work with, will we be in danger of having to sign up and pay for more space?

Mike:

Home page, at the bottom of the "Active Threads from the Forums", the "More..." link is still not working properly whether there are more threads unread by the user or not. If you click on it, you get "No Threads In The Last -1 Days In Forum"

I was just thinking that it would be neat to be able to see what progress others are making, what stages they have gone through on their build. You would know what experience others have in case you have specific questions. Also, I enjoy following others builds, I remember seeing Ed's car be built to the masterpiece it is before our eyes
