I had the site down for a few days while I ran some upgrades and server maintenance. Sorry you didn't get sufficient notification of the maintenance, but, it was something I had to do this week.

Just out of curiosity, do we have a limit on the amount of space we can use on our domain? I know that our server is owned by someone else, but what kind of space do you (Mike) have to work with, will we be in danger of having to sign up and pay for more space?

I doubt journal information will take that much disk space. It's just a bunch of text. It's the gallery that uses a lot of space. We are using a lot more space as we grow, but, hopefully we can find long-term sponsors or monthly donations to keep us going. I'd say that if you find this site useful and a journal module worth the effort, then try to donate monthly to our cause. My biggest challenge right now is server horsepower. We are starting to use a lot of memory and CPU and may grow out of our shoes soon.

I was just thinking that it would be neat to be able to see what progress others are making, what stages they have gone through on their build. You would know what experience others have in case you have specific questions. Also, I enjoy following others builds, I remember seeing Ed's car be built to the masterpiece it is before our eyes

Yea, I'd like that too. I always want to see how others are doing on their projects. My project, for instance, could use a journal log. I entered some data in the old system, but, I'll have to pull that out and create new entries.

I will plan to send the old logs to you guys when I get the new one going. I can email them to you when I start.

You used to be able to click a member name in a thread and have the option to link directly to their gallery. You can't do that any more.

How do you get to a members gallery and can that link come back?

Hey Steve, I fixed the store links from the banners. Thanks, I forgot about those.

The need to log in usually comes from not putting us in your 'trusted sites' list. Add our URL to that and you should be set. Or, try to delete all of your cookies stored on your PC and give it another shot.

I've got to get that back into the system. We lost it when I loaded a new theme. Let me see what I can do to tweak it and get that back again. It's something I have to do to the code at a core level.

Another tweak request, Mike - I love having the classifieds separated by region. But now when viewing the ads, the sort order defaults to "Most Views" instead of "Most Recent" as it used to. I don't know about others, but for me "Most Recent" is far more useful - I find myself repeatedly looking at ads that are months old now.

I realize how much I surf this site now since I couldn't do it for days. I had to rely on other sites to get my fix!! But I have to say that this site satisfys my fix the best of all . Thankyou mike for all your effort i can not imagine how much work this is, and I plan to support your site when I can

been trying to upload a .swf file (one of the file types shown as approved) to my gallery for several days, and it never completes the upload.

Was wondering why every time i click on a picture the comments input box is so small you can only see 1 letter at a time.
