Hello, I have a 1983 280zx turbo. The impeller on the turbo is broken. I am not having any luck at all finding a used one locally. Does someone have one that they would be willing to sell me?

An entire new cartridge is about $150 and you then have a completely rebuilt unit. Why go cheep just to find out running imballanced has messed up the bushings...

What all does the cartridge include and where do I get one. I called a turbo shop here in Oklahoma and he looked it up and told me if the shaft was broken I would need a new "center piece" and said it would be $600.00.

Well someone is ripping you off if the are charging you 600 dollars for a new ?center section" Cartridge as hls30 has properly called it.

My new Garret T3/T4 cost just over 600, so if that tells you anything then you might want to reconcider.
