Dreco Posted December 19, 2005 Share #1 Posted December 19, 2005 Hello all, not sure if this is the right section, but i thought I'd mention that I saw a 12/70 240z at the Pick and Pull salvage yard, in Dallas, this weekend... had complete engine with e31 head, drivetrain, carbs, ect.. forget about body parts (rust), but there's some stuff salvageable on it.. Piper Posted December 20, 2005 Share #2 Posted December 20, 2005 Isn't a 12/70 build date considered a 71? Still a good find. Grab that stuff.
EScanlon Posted December 20, 2005 Share #3 Posted December 20, 2005 I believe Arne is in urgent need of the dash wiring harnesses. Can you maybe PM him and ask him if he's interested in your removing/shipping for him?E
Arne Posted December 20, 2005 Share #4 Posted December 20, 2005 I believe Arne is in urgent need of the dash wiring harnesses. Can you maybe PM him and ask him if he's interested in your removing/shipping for him?EThanks for thinking of me, Enrique. Yes, I do need the dash harness assembly from a car of this vintage, but only if it is in really good shape and from an automatic. See the latest on my harness story at the end of my other thread.http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19793&page=
26th-Z Posted December 20, 2005 Share #5 Posted December 20, 2005 I'm looking for emissions parts. Nice restorable stuff. I would buy the whole top end of the engine - head and all - smog pump.... If anyone is so inclined, send me a PM.

26th-Z Posted December 20, 2005 Share #11 Posted December 20, 2005 US imported Z cars came with emission controls from day one. Take a look at what I have to deal with here. Ahhghh!!! I'm really looking for the air tube that connects to the exhaust manifold. But I would rather have the exhaust manifold with it, and if that part is nice, I might as well take the rest...it just goes on and on, doesn't it? Let me know what you find and we'll talk. I don't expect anyone to go out to the junk yard and wrench for nothing. Let me know if anyone is inspired. 27th is going to be as stock as I can make her and I would like to have some more of the emission hardware to work with.
