That is Eric B's friend's car. The guy that owns that 240z is on this site too. His name is Dave. They are both the sidesways squad Z guys located in LA. That black Z is the loadest Z I have ever heard. I think he has multiple exhaust systems, but the one that he had installed when I was caravaning with him and Eric to the Monterey Historics was just pipe with no muffler. Flames came out the exhaust on the downshifts. It was louder than Ron's BRE replica!

Slidesquad Dave coming out the 3rd street tunnel downtown Los Angeles (i think). No doubt he like the acoustics in there!

Wow! Some one has a Z that they drive on the street that is louder than my racecar!!...I dont think I could get a 1/4 of a mile with my current exhaust on the street with out being pulled over for noise.

Z guys located in LA

Dave lives in S.F. now, I think. Met him a couple of times, once at the Historics with V12horse. Used to drift that 240z, but stopped because of the poor weight distribution. Also had to raise the car about an inch because of the "poor pavement up here in Norcal".

No more Slide Squad sticker on the windshield, but he does have a sweet "nostalgic hero" sticker in it instead, hehe.

Pretty damn sure he was the first to drift a 240z at a sanctioned drift event.
