Here is an awesome set of Watanabe's for a great price with a very nice lip. Some one pick them up for their Z or Skyline!

p.s. I know that I have posted many threads like this before, but I really like these wheels and I am just trying to get people more interested in these classic wheels. I would love to see more of them on Z's.

p.p.s. Hopefully, my set of Watanabe's will be on my car soon. My front wheels are 14 X 7j type B (+8mm).

Hey Ben! Happy New Year!

Those are of the design I like the best. Mine are painted centers and a polished rim. They look great and you are right; no one seems to know what they are. Ha! The real deal. If you want a knobbie when you drive, drive on Watanabe.

The Buy-it-Now price is quite reasonable.

You could...... but you'd be wrong :P

There are a few different styles and sizes of centrecaps. A lot of cars don't run with them in Japan because A. it gives that "racer" look and/or B. they're easily stolen.

Check out my gallery for one style. They come in black too (with red centre logo) and also a smaller hexagonal style. Might be others too?

Personally the Watanabe's look much more aggressive due to the size and offset. They are also period correct as production started in 1968 and they were fitted on Z's and Skylines in Japan when new. They were also the wheel of choice for many racing teams in Japan. If you want to give your car a Japanese flavor if you will, these are the wheels to have. In my opinion, they look much different than Panasports and Mini-lites, it just depends on what style you like.
