Hey Guys!

Tell me what you guys think of my "not so new rims".My friend called me up from Japan and he said that he got

me these rims that would look perfect on any Z but I wanted the

Panasport look but he said these were better! If you notice the

rims aren't in their best look but I am having them reconditioned.

These are 3 piece sets from Speed Star Japan with a polished lip

finish and weighs 555kg! If you'll notice the width difference of the

Rear to Front pics. I just installed them on the car and they fit

perfectly! I wanted to go 17"s but I thought they were to big for the

car but thats a personal taste :) Old school baby.

Sort of zhead240. The guy is actually a smuggler.Gets sports cars from Japan nad converts them to LHD then ships them to the Philippines and makes a killing!

Honestly I don't respect these kind of guys because anything illegal isn't fine by me but he is one of dads closest friends and he did help me with the mags, so I'll just have to close my eyes on this matter.

Nothing really. If the vehicle is tax paid and have the proper papers, also customs knows about your shipments, then that is totally legal but in this country, things are done differently. Good side to it though, If I have the money I can order any car I want :) but I choose to drive the Z...

Doing a Tonya:

555kg X 2.2lb/kg = 1221 lb. EACH, then X 4 wheels = 4884 lb, or roughly twice the weight of the car, for a total package of roughly 7300 pounds.

Geez, I think my old 76 Ford LTD weighed less......LOL

That makes for increased gas mileage (snicker) once you get the car rolling.....plays hell on the brakes though.

I'm more concerned with the 38 mm offset than the (admittedly) odd weight. With that offset you are not going to clear the strut tubes. Gonna need some serious spacers for them, at least 30 mm or so. I'm betting those wheels were designed for a Honda, not early RWD Datsuns.
