So if you guys can help me out, that would be great! Thanks guys! Would either of these guys be willing to ship parts to the Philippines? In terms of prices, Are these guys cheaper or a little more expensive than Victoria British? Because I was planning on ordering my parts from them.Ez Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18475-can-anyone-give-me-a-hand/#findComment-151223 Share on other sites
January 6, 200619 yr comment_151224 Considering that you live closer to Japan than I live to MSA and the other California-based vendors listed it seems like parts places there might be a good option for you, at least in terms of shipping costs. The communications barrier might be a bigger problem although we do have a number of members who might be able to help you out there. It would also help if you could list some of the specific parts you're in need of. Could parts be tranfered to each of them? Right now? Top of my head, I need complete set of weatherstrips and tie rod ends L&R. Those are the two most important parts I need right now. The others are mostly accesories such as emblems and sway bars. Those can wait. Thanks Mike!Ez Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18475-can-anyone-give-me-a-hand/#findComment-151228 Share on other sites
January 6, 200619 yr comment_151238 My guess is that almost everything is interchangeable, with some exceptions like the dash area and associated components, brake lines, steering linkage and rack. Anything else come to mind? But what do I know. Nissan part numbers would probably help out there. I tried calling NISSAN here and they can't help me cause it might be too expensive for them and for me to bring in special parts that isn't in their inventory.Typical. Would anyone know if the newer models of Nissan shared or had similar parts with the 240? January 6, 200619 yr comment_151264 Les sends stuff all over the world, South Africa, Japan etc. I am at his shop regularly (I store one of my race cars there) and see boxes marked for places all over the world. I am sure he can help you out. Also, Les is very reasonable, his pricing is very fair.www.classicdatsun.comles@classicdatsun.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18475-can-anyone-give-me-a-hand/#findComment-151264 Share on other sites
January 6, 200619 yr comment_151266 www.classicdatsun.comThat page has always seemed extremely limited to me. I take it he actually sells way more than what's shown? January 6, 200619 yr comment_151268 His website does not do justice for the items that he has available, Les has a very large collection of parts, or access to parts that are difficult to find. I suggest contacting him directly with what you need specifically....Les can be a little rough around the edges, but he knows these cars better than anyone, and has resored and raced them for many years. He is a great resourse. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18475-can-anyone-give-me-a-hand/#findComment-151268 Share on other sites
