Posted January 27, 200619 yr comment_153703 Edit: Oops! I meant PL411, just can't make my fingers do what I want.I saw this and thought someone might be interested. No connection with the car or seller, just thought it needs a good new home.http://www.craigslist.org/car/128556898.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18697-sp411-wagon-in-auburn-wa/ Share on other sites
January 28, 200619 yr comment_153707 I've seen that one before. It's kind of butchered up with that L20B motor in it. Should have a J13 which is considerably smaller so I imagine there's been some cutting to make it fit. January 28, 200619 yr comment_153708 I like it, I can definately see potential in it's body shape just needs good paint. We never got them in Australia though, at least I've never seen one. The title of the post definately threw me, I thought it was a fairlady roadster wagon . January 28, 200619 yr comment_153734 Now you guys got me thinking about a second car :stupid: It's got potential poring out of every oriface, I LIKE IT!! You have to understand that my first love (Datsun) was a 78' 510 (A10) 2 door hatchback. It had an L20B and that cool 5-speed (reverse is where 1st should be and 1st is where 2nd should be)I wooped but in that car all day loooooong! So I kinda miss it. And that 411 would look sweet with a clean paint Job (any thing from looking like a woody to brite red) about 1 inch bigger wheels, lowered a little, Nice little sound system, Bench seats in the front so you can pull your girl next to you on those long road trips to go get more parts for the Z.You see where I'm going, Right?Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18697-sp411-wagon-in-auburn-wa/#findComment-153734 Share on other sites
January 28, 200619 yr comment_153741 We did get them here in Australia, I had one for a few years Gav, there is some potential there, but very limited potential. The bay is very small and restricted by the suspension componentry and height. You add to this the front end which parts are unobtainable for and nothing really to swap into the front (apart from some ute parts for discs) and its more effort than its worth.A cool looking care none the less.Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18697-sp411-wagon-in-auburn-wa/#findComment-153741 Share on other sites
January 29, 200619 yr Author comment_153765 Here's another one, in Salem, OR. Not as butchered, still has the 1300.http://portland.craigslist.org/car/127377021.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18697-sp411-wagon-in-auburn-wa/#findComment-153765 Share on other sites
January 29, 200619 yr comment_153767 I don't know, I still kinda like the first one better. Roof rack and the L20B do it for me, and the wheels help in sell.JMO Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18697-sp411-wagon-in-auburn-wa/#findComment-153767 Share on other sites
January 29, 200619 yr comment_153770 I wouldn't mind an RL411SSS. Same body but they had the R16 roadster engine with dual su's. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/18697-sp411-wagon-in-auburn-wa/#findComment-153770 Share on other sites
