Reproduction Flasher Decal on Dash--any interest?

I have a friend that works at a decal manufacturer--

he can make me a decal for my small defroster sticker, flat black with white lettering. I know it won't be exact, but probably 99% accurate reproduction.

Is there any interest here for a reproduction?

Does anyone know of anyone already selling this sticker? I've never found it and I'd rather just go buy it, but I'm willing to get this done.

What is a fair price for this sticker? I was thinking $10 (includes shipping).

Please lets discuss!

Everyone have a good week!

ok, keep the desire posts coming....yeah, all i was doing was wiping off mine, and most of the black, as you can see in the picture came off...I was pissed. Now I'm going to get one made that is superior in quality. It more than likely won't be EXACT but I believe even 26th Z would have a hard time thinking it was a fake in a car show. If I can't get it reproduced (with fooling a judge at a car show in mind), I won't bother.

I'm sure it's going to initially cost a pretty penny to get the design done by my buddy, not too much, but enough to warrant a small price.

Once again, I want to ask, does anyone know of anyone reproducing this sticker? I know it's not on that one guys website that sells underhood emission sticker, color code sticker, etc....

And is there a different sticker for Series I? I believe that Series II-IV are just like my picture. Please confirm, somebody.

My Series I (10/70) has a sticker similar to that pictured above. Just how similar I can't say right now, I'm at work and the car isn't. Series I cars did not have the recess in the dash pad for the sticker, however.

I have removed all such superfulous items from my 240Z. I am on a weight-saving mission. You cannot be carrying around these extra pounds if you want to break into the 15's at the digs. Other items that I have removed are the shift-pattern logo, horn button, rear-view mirror, side mirror, all exterior emblems, washer nozzels, W/shield wipers, etc. I think I have saves at least 10 pounds of weight by removing these items. I need these weight savers to keep the good stuff like the 6" OD stainless exhaust extension, the huge speaker boxes in the rear and the colored lights under the fenders. Maybe next I can remove one wheel nut from each wheel and add a TV antennae. Yeah, thats the trick! WhooHa!

I forgot about this thread. I looked at my Series I and it has a sticker, but I believe that it is different. There is no recess on the Series I dash, and the sticker is on the other side of the switch. Memory tells me the sticker is not quite the same, I'll try to remember to take a picture of it soon. Might not be this evening, going on a parts run tonight. (Spare motor!)

The earliest Hazard switches had two triangles, one pointed up and the other down (similar to an elevators arrows), surrounded with small lines and the word "FLASH", embossed in white on the toggle paddle. Later Switches had the double triangle symbol, one small triangle inside the other without any wording (the international symbol now in use).

The very earliest dashes didn't have any stickers, as I recall. Later, a sticker mimicking the earliest Hazard Switch, was added as Arne pointed out. When the Series II came out, the sticker now had an embossed indentation on the dash. All of these stickers unfortunately, were very simple black ink on plain paper, as a result, one swipe of a cleaning cloth and the ink was gone or smudged. Later the paper was "plasticized" but the ink was still just as weak.

I'm not sure what Dave (Dogma) refers to as Series III and IV as those are somewhat new terms to me, or maybe they're in use elsewhere.

There was a change to the Hazard Switch when they went from the Toggle switch to the Push/ Pull switch, I don't recall if the wording on the sticker changed.

FWIW
