Reproduction Flasher Decal on Dash--any interest?

Here's the picture of what my flasher decal looks like (10/71 manufacturer date).

My car is a Series III 240z....is there a different flasher sticker for Series I or II or IV?

Dogma, the pic of the sticker you have in the second or so post is what I need. $10 shipped to my mailbox? Let me know if/when you get these in your hands. I'm not just interested in one, you've got a guaranteed sale with me. I'll buy one as soon as you get them made.

I am wondering if I have the one that Arne has. My '71 was built 2/71. I do not remember the indentation in the dash like the pic. I also do not remember the "on/off" decal. I will look the next time I am go to the shop. If not, I guess I will have one made locally. I just bought a decal for the paint code. I need to have the code "stamped" on and it will be ready. It's fun restoring these old cars.

This is still on the burner list...I'm serious, just might be a few things 'down the list'...I appreciate everyone showing interest...looks like I need to start getting quotes.

The problem is, the cutting of the sticker, isn't square--on a mass production sheet, this costs more than just a rectangular square...not sure how much more...they may be even cheaper, by means of sending a template and a retangular sticker, and having each owner cut to size. Not sure yet...want to make them cut obviously, but it may cost too much; i mean, these aren't low vin 70 240s here, so the sticker isn't that important..I just thought it would be nice to have a new looking sticker when mine looks like crap.

  • 6 months later...

OK guys, I apologize profusely...I'm ALMOST really honestly about to do this project.

I have gone through a tough bought with a serious MS attack, and really had no interest whatsoever in doing anything with the Z...just struggled to get better is all I was concerned about over the Summer, etc.

My problem is this unfortunately--

My only hazard sticker from my Z was delicately removed by myself, and before shipping I placed it in a book to protect it...and then I had my attack and well, I can't find the darn sticker now...

After looking in just about every book I own, I have given up on finding it.

Anyways, anyone have any suggestions? PM me if need be.

If I can get a sticker from someone, I would probably give out 10 of these to whoever helped me out...these should be profitable on ebay, not sure...I was really just doing them for everyone on this website, for very low (no profit) cost or trade for parts...

Possibly someone has a parts car that has a useable sticker still on the dash...I would be able to send back this sticker, along with at least 10 of the new ones...any takers?

Anyways, if anyone has a 1972 hazard sticker, shaped like a cross (pictures earlier in this thread), that is still perfect on the outline of the sticker, with at least a few letters showing and all else can be totally faded...

Thanks for reading my post, I appreciate it. Everyone have a great week, and in the Portland area, it looks like a great week and weekend coming up for a nice Z drive before the rain starts in!
