i went to a Z enthusiast shop today and looked at 2 sets of headlight covers for my 240Z...one was $150 CDN...it was just a piece of plastic with some mounting holes...when i put it up against my car they didn't fit that nice and there wasn't a rubber gasket or anything around the cover...the other one i just looked at and didn't bother looking for more than a minute cuz they were $600 CDN!! the guy said they were the OEM headlight covers from japan...they looked sweet though...had a chrome trim around the edges...

is there a certain brand of headlight covers that fit really well?...i've seen many pics with the covers and they have a rubber moulding around the edges and they fit flush to the fenders..

The only ones I have ever seen for sale here in Oz were similar to the $150 ones you mentioned, fit was cruddy and they had these little fiddly brackets that didn't look to strong.

Matter of fact I now recall talking to a guy about them some time ago about some for my 260. I have his number somewhere, I'll call him and see if he knows a brand that is good. Will get back to this thread with an answer.
