70 240Z Rear Bumper Guards?

I just had my bumpers rechromed (look great!) and ordered new bumper pads from Courtesy Nissan in Dallas (good supply source!). They had all of the pads except the rear guard bumper pads. I supposedly found a new set on E-Bay and bought them. They arrived today but look identical to my front guard pads I got from Courtesy. I am enclosing a picture of my front and rear guards to see if someone can confirm that they are the correct bumper guards for a 70 240Z. I am assuming that I had the front pads sent to me from the E-Bay source. I am hoping you many wise souls can assist me!

I believe the small one on the right with the pad on it is the front and the large one to the left is the rear.

FWIW, left is front according to my parts bin.

i have these (longer tail, no inside notch) attached to a front overrider bar. however, they didn't come mounted on the car so i cannot conclusively verify it.

Strictly from memory:

Left one is definitely a front, and if memory serves, it's a LEFT side.

Right one is a rear, and again, a Left one, but it's upside down. Look at the ROUND notch on the edge of the cutout, that goes on the underside of the bumper and towards the middle of the car.

If you look closely, and are familiar with these, you'll also note another notched cutout on the back edge of the overrider, which faces directly to the right of the picture. That's for the horizontal bumper rubber to fit underneath of. The front overrider also shows the same notch. That's what allows you to readily discern these as LEFT side overriders.

You should know that EARLY Rear Overriders (70-71; to use the OEM name) are different from the 72-73. The 72-73 are pretty much interchangeable, and look very close to the late 73 early 74 (260 w/ wrap-around bumper), EXCEPT that the L73-E74 were bigger.

Unfortunately, rubber will not interchange. Mind you, this still doesn't include the 69 overriders which didn't use bolts to secure the rubber.

Interesting ... I went and pieced my bumpers together and you are definitely correct, the large override/guard is for the front and the smaller one is for the rear. That said, it is interesting that Courtesy Nissan, as well as Motorsport and Victoria British, say that they cannot access the rear rubber pad, only the front. But when i ordered the front pads, Courtesy sent me the rear! Will be interesting to hear their response on this!

I had my front and rear bumpers welded up/re-chromed and went to European-style bumpers. I decided to sell the rear bumper guards and rubber pads on eBay. I could not believe how valuable they were. I guess these old parts are getting harder to find.

Found this thread from last year and am in need of the rubber pads for the rear bumper of my '71 series 1 240Z. Can't find them on Courtesy's website and continue to look on ebay. Black Dragon doesn't have them.

Any other potential sources out there?

I have been looking for them as well for the '72. I saw that Motorsport them now. Here's an excerpt from their website www.motorsportauto.com :
