ER,

I'm glad that you were able to buy the brown one! I was hoping that one of the members would buy this 240 from these people. I think you got a heck of a deal on it. Once you get the car back to Sacramento, be sure to post some pics and tell us more about the car.

lonetreesteve,

Thanks man! I will be sure to take some photos of it when I pick it up and after I get it back home.

By the way, the red '73 is still available and is only at $100.00 with just under 5 hours left at the time of this post:

You mean the Pink one? I briefly thought about it but it looked too rough for me, and I am pretty ambitious when it comes to that.

I am thinking of making the trip on the 4th. You wouldn't happen to have and stock steelies with tires that hold air would ya?

er34gtt2000jp - Yes, I have set of 14" wheels. Do you just need them to get the car loaded? Unfortunately, I'll be working corners at an SCCA race that weekend in Deming...Robert

Well to everyone who was watching this thread.

DO NOT BUY THE BROWN CAR!

It has been totaled and very poorly repaired and someone ripped the lower radiator support out with a chain.

I was able to finagle another car that happened to be the best deal on the property so my trip was not in vain.

HAHAHAHAHA went and saw them the other day! No I'm just kidding but thanks for telling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way my brother went and bought a 240z like 4 days ago and it had a crap load of extra parts in it for $500. Like a grill, window regulators, shift nobs, steering wheel, carbeurators, air filters, windows, consoles, sparkplugs.

Well, out of the 8 or 9 Zs these people started out with they have one 240Z left starting at $50.00 (a different one than what Eric originally won, then wisely switched out for the white 240), a 280Z 2+2, starting at $100.00 and and a Triumph Spitfire starting at $50.00:

I looked at that one too but they told me that it did not have a title.

A shame too because it is not that bad, rusty but pretty complete.

Eric,

Since you saw the car in person, would it make a very inexpensive parts car for someone?

This car would be a good parts car but it is pretty rusty, interior is shot but fairly complete as well as the engine.

I would have bought it but they did not have the title and I din;t have room for two cars. My avatar shows the car I bought from them 20 in. after we left their property.

I will be posting my progress on it here as soon as I get started. Here are the photos after I cleaned it up a but and a couple of my 75 2+2.
