Rally Clock and oscillator unit For Sale

If the clock and control unit are working and the clock was in good shape it would be worth something.

However, if someone has tried to repair the control unit and damaged any of the critical parts it's worth nothing. Parts for these units are not available and you can't make them.

Oh Well! I just got outbid on the oscillator by a wide margin. More than I'm willing to go. If the high bidder is on this forum, I'd like to tell him or her that if it does not work, I'd like to buy it from him or her, as I'd like to take it to an electronics specialist for duplication.

If it weren't for the cut wires, missing screw, missing knob, and damage from an at least attepted repair on the clock I would have asked a couple of questions and naybe at least upped the antie a little earlier. Too obvious it has been fooled with, and with our resident clock guy stating that parts are NLA and not reproduceable, I would be a little to intimidated to spend more than the opening bids for something cosmeticly lacking as well as undoubedly not working, and most probably not repairable.

I could just print up a 2 part face, cut a new lens, and glue a couple of shafts in, and have something that looks right and works just as well for an hour or two, a small piece of plexi, and parts from a pair of broken oem clocks.

SOme guy wants the parts pretty bad...headed toward $400...

This is pretty wild, I bought one of these off eBay awhile back for about $50 bucks -- still haven't tested it to see if it works, but I have both parts. Funny, I'm missing one knob as well. Almost tempted to sell it, but not quite. Victor I'll see about taking some photos of the oscillator for you. Gary D
