hello all. i just bought a 74 260 2 + 2 that i plan on fixing up and let my wife drive. i also own a 88 SS and my daughter owns a 90 na. the 260 has been sitting the last 20 years in a garage without being run. i have major issues to deal with i am sure. the car body is showing no rust on the exterior, and looks good underneath from what i could see. when i bought this, i had planned on having it running and repainted by early summer, but now i figure we have a good two or three year project on our hands, as time and cash allow. any advice on what to look at first, suggestions for best sources on parts, would be greatly appreciated.

well, as for areas of rust and such it has been covered many times in this forum. Floor boards, rockers, and frame rails are just a few places that are prone to rusting out. Run a search in the forum section and most questions u have should be answered already, but if not we'll help you out! As for parts... MSA is a good source, along with Victoria British, or you can try the classifieds section here on the site. Anyways welcome aboard and good luck!
