I thought it would be fun to put on a competition (with some class). For those of you who have wives, girlfriends, or significant others who are willing to participate, I think it's time for a contest!!

Take a picture of both of your babies together. Ie: Your photo must contain your Z car, your s.o., and some interesting words about them both. Post your picture in our gallery CONTEST area. You can find the link here: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=3300

This will be a classy contest and should be considered fun for everyone. Winners will receive a club t-shirt for him, a babydoll t-shirt (for her), and a Microfiche CD (for the car).

Mike, it sound like Arne and I vote for a catagory for Z's under restoration. I was thinking about having my wife somehow sit on the rotisserie.........

The big question for this contest is it a beauty contest or is it about the best car/SO? Some cars show great but under that great paint job the engine is hard to start,it smokes,annoyingly loud,undependable,interier is not what you think it is.It is not a pleasure to be out with no one watching and admiring it's sexy looks.Some SO are just like their cars,that is why men name their cars after women.Don't get me wrong,some cars are drop dead georgous and and most men would dream about a little test drive but after 2 minutes would run.I bet there are just as many women that fit that category.So my question is what are the parameters for judgeing this contest. By the way my Z is ready at a moments notice to take me anywhere my hearts desire is and I Don't give a second thought as to its inner ability or its over all great looks.Ditto for my wife.

I'll have to give some thought to what angle of view might best frame my poor car at this time. Then I have to convince my wife to be in the picture - I'm pretty sure that she has no desire to have her picture posted on the Internet, so that could be the tougher part.

HAHA, I think alot of us are in the same boat! My wife has (sort of) agreed to be in it, and I am trying to think up cool angles/shots. When I told her what I had in mind, she was shocked!!

I may need to call on the Gods of oenology to assist!
