I saw an SR-20 DET 240 in Thailand in June. It was still being built but looked very good.

It's aluminium, not chrome. It is a purpose-built race car that has a showcar finish to it. Fantastic!! I do agree with you zman I would prefer to make do with a couple of extra kg and keep a nice looking stock dash. But beggars can't be choosers

Nope, he's already done a 20B in a FD RX7 and I'm in the process of putting a Cosmo 13B single turbo in a RX8 for him. The SR260Z was sold last year and Amir bought it back. Now, with the RX8 nearing completion, he wants to sell the SR car again.

This is probably going off topic a bit but John, do you know if the Cosmo 13B is any different than the Gen 3 RX-7 13B?

I'm not an engine guy so I don't know. Amir seemed to think there is a difference (at least with the US spec engine) and he spent some time trying to locate the Cosmo 13B.
