Posted February 27, 200619 yr comment_157387 This is probably an easy one.I am trying to remove my Amp/fuel guage. The temp. guage came out easy. All I had to do was un-plug the pigtail and light wire and it was off.The fuel guage seems to have two additional leads connected to it. They are comming from a wire harness under the dash. Both have a right angle rubber nipple over them. How do I get these off?If I pry the rubber nipple back, I can see little brass nuts. Do I indo the nuts, or do these plugs simply pull off like the light does? Thanks,Mark Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19038-ampfuel-guage-removal-help/ Share on other sites
February 27, 200619 yr comment_157394 You have to remove the nuts.WARNING!! One of those wires goes straight to the battery. Make certain you have disconnected the battery before you start.
