Posted March 1, 200619 yr comment_157686 I was wondering what size are the dealer(?) fitted stripes down the side of the 240Z's are? what the spaces between the stripes are, how big the large and small stripes are and how big are the letters/numbers?I am going to replicate something like it for my 2+2 in black, just for some contrast! But im going to put '260z' between the door and rear wheel arch.Cheers! March 1, 200619 yr comment_157702 Here's a shot of the stripe that Motorsport sells. It is supposedly a reproduction of the original. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19062-original-stripe-size/#findComment-157702 Share on other sites

March 12, 200619 yr comment_159006 Just thought I'd let you know that the ones from Graphic Design are an exact copy of the factory stripes. They look great and the service from GD was excellent. I had a small sample of an original stripe and matched it up against the GD product. It's perfect. The ones from Motorsports aren't factory matches. The width of the lines is not correct. March 12, 200619 yr comment_159113 Sorry, I didn't post the widths because my Z is in the shop for the week. Can't find the original piece either. I'll measure and post when I get it back. March 12, 200619 yr comment_159114 That's 'Graphic Express' which is the same link Craig posted earlier. I am familiar with them and have bought merchandise from them in the past. You threw me and apparently montoya fan01 also by refering to it as 'Graphic Design'. March 19, 200619 yr comment_159948 Ok, got my Z back from the shop today:classic:It looks great! Anyway, here's the width of the stripes. Both top and bottom are 1/4 in and the center stripe is 2 inches. The overall stripe is just a shade over 3 inches, maybe 3 1/8. The motorsport stripe is the same overall width but the the top bottom and middle are different widths than the original design.Sorry about the mix up in names. It is Graphic Express.Hope this helpsBob Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19062-original-stripe-size/#findComment-159948 Share on other sites
