Posted March 3, 200619 yr comment_158003 Need a little help for the 78 I just got. Doing my crawl around under it to see what it needs to be road ready. Looks like the top rubber of the mustache bar bushings was left out by whoever was there last. It's the source of my little clunk as everything else looks decent except 1 flakey u-joint. I need someone who has the bushings and maybe the sleeves handy from a poly upgrade or a parts car as that's all I want to do right now. If I get new bushings I can't put them in with a dirty old mustache bar, so would have to remove it, clean it and paint it and while I was there I may as well,,,,,,,,, you know the story. I want to wait on a complete disassemble, rebuild, repaint on the rear suspension till I have all the new stuff (money) handy. Someone help me out. March 4, 200619 yr comment_158101 I've got the top and bottom mount stoppers in good condition but I can't help with the bushing. It's air pollution now. Fire fire fire! Heheheh Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19090-need-some-used-mustache-bar-bushings/#findComment-158101 Share on other sites
March 4, 200619 yr comment_158113 Mike you can have mine if they remove easily. I'm afraid mine will go the way of Adams. If they don't press out neatly, the blue wrench will be involved. I also have the upper and lower "bumpers" if you need those. Will let you know after lunch Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19090-need-some-used-mustache-bar-bushings/#findComment-158113 Share on other sites
