March 4, 200619 yr comment_158092 Yes it is possible to put it in the wrong way. There is a little tab on the right side of the sending unit mounting hole that lines up with the sending unit so it will be in the right direction. When I did my take this tab was bent down just enough that the sending unit would not catch it and stay when i secured the ring in place.
