March 6, 200619 yr comment_158353 Jon and I deleted my vapor tank and fabbed a 'manifold' that joined all the vent lines. No probs yet, just make sure you tighten ALL the clamps TIGHT. March 6, 200619 yr comment_158362 Stephen, Dave(Dogma 240) did an excellent article on eliminating the evap tank and I think it is posted under tech articles. Is that possible for you? Then you don't have to worry about it Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19101-need-70-240z-fuel-vapor-tank/?&page=2#findComment-158362 Share on other sites
March 11, 200619 yr comment_158982 hey guys when i had my 70 same thing happened to me.it cracked at the nozzle and i replaced it with a metal one from a 73.was able to screw it up to the panel using most of the holes.but i believ one of the holes didn't line up.either way it worked and the plastic panel fit back on no problems.definitely cured the problem and tightened the clamps really good.good luck with that.
