Posted March 4, 200619 yr comment_158128 On my way back to the junk yard with tools to pull a 5-speed from an 6/81 built ZX, the rear end has drive axles that bolt directly to the "pumkin", I thought they all still had flanges and bolts at both ends, did I dream this? Does it mean anything or is it just an R200 that was stock on all cars? Thought about pulling it also for the lower gearing but they want "extra" money for the independent rear end and even more for the axles. March 4, 200619 yr comment_158138 The 81 I parted had flanges, as far as I know the only one that was different was the ZXT of some year/s that had snap in CV joint axles on the R200, other than that all R200's should be the same I believe and have flanges like the 240-280 did on the R180.
