March 8, 200619 yr comment_158618 What Z parts would you horde for the future? Can be cars also. . I wouldn't hoard parts or cars at first, but play the stock market, make an @$$ load of money, then buy a nice big temperature and air regulated garage in Arizona to house about 100 Z and about as many parts as I could keep in there. If I wouldn't do that I would get as many complete dashes as possiable. Those babies are going for 900 a pop now a days! Of course I could never horde that many Z cars, I would end up driving them all the time. I have never quite understood the concept of owning something so nice and fast and just looking at it. If I wanted to do that I would just go buy a life size photo of a Z. If I were given any classic car, regarless of rareity, I would still end up driving it! Of course I would also be a little more careful the rarer it is :lick: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19149-if-you-could-go-back-in-time/#findComment-158618 Share on other sites

Bad investment. Assuming you bought a new Z for 5000 and stored it, it might be worth 25-35000 now. If you just invested teh 5000, it would be worth about 150k, assuming your money doubles every 7 years.Dashboards, definitely dashboards. Not that they would be a good investment, but just to help the Z community! And as far as investment, assuming I wasn't a moron (which I am not) I am sure that I would have been able to buy a few choice stocks and had plenty of money to blow on cars if I were able to go back in time. Z's would be only one of many different cars I would hoard. March 9, 200619 yr comment_158671 If I could go back and change things.....I would have never sold my 68 Camaro. As for Z parts to horde, might as well be floor pans or battery trays.
