Jremy , What a load of crap ! Sorry I cant' join the PITY PARTY . You are sounding like a 12 yr old. As for the billing you could be replaced in 10 min. if need be . You ave comming off like a major spoiled brat. I think you should move out on your own and see what the real world is like . Sounds like you really have rough receiving your Z as a gift . Try earning your way , then maybe you would appriciate your family and your Father a little more. You don't sound neglected to me . Like the saying goes '' don't let the door hit ya where the good Loard split ya " . A birthday is just another day . You will learn this when you grow up .

G'Day again Jeremy,

As some are suggesting you move out, it reminds of the time; ....

My son, Ken, was about eighteen when, one night at the dinner table, he commented that he was thinking about moving out into a flat (apartment) with a couple of his mates.

I said something like, "Well, are your bags packed yet, I'll go start the ute and give you a lift".

If his jaw had dropped an inch lower he would have had mashed potato on his chin.

A week or so later I did help him move in with his mates. Best thing he could have done. He grew up very quickly.

In my experience, young women GENERALLY develope maturity almost instinctively whereas young men need to first leave home.

I agree with Beandip (Gazza), it would be the best thing you could do.

Rick.

well thanks to everyone for the replies, be them birthday wishes or wise pieces of advice. I do agree, I should move out, but as for the time being, I don't want to, and would rather live with my family for the remainder of the time that I am in college (to make it easier on myself). I do think I was overreacting towards the whole situation, and I agree, it was a pity party, and it took all of you to make me realize it.

As for my birthday, I had a great time, I spent time with both my father, friends, and my girlfriend. Everything went together smoothly, and I couldn't have wished for more.

I guess it was just an off day, so no hard feelings anyone? I don't want people to see me as just another whiny kid, but as a fellow Z fanatic, as it should. :)

Maybe you finally did some maturing.

Your last post at least shows a glimmer of hope.

The earlier stuff was worthy of a big thump on the back of your head.

Next time you feel so "deprived", "unfortunate", and otherwise "shtty"; think of the OTHER 20 year olds in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other troubled parts of the world. Or better yet, check out the nearest homeless shelter. Or look at pictures of people in Africa, India, and other impoverished countries.

Otherwise, when your Dad starts buying your little sister Bra's and Panties, we'll all chip in and buy you YOUR set.

hahaha, that last part EScalon, made me laugh. As for the other 20 yr. olds in war, all but one of my friends have joined the military, and they are all up for going over to war zones, but lets just pray that they don't. One of my friends, who is a Marine and is stationed over in Okinawa, called me internationally to wish me a happy birthday, which really made me realize how lucky I am to have the people in my life that I do.

I still have maturing to do, and it'll come with time and experience.
