I finally put the Z on the Dyno. They held it at 6500 rpm for 10 seconds to watch temps and pressures. She smoked a little but HEY, she's got over 150,000 hard miles on her and the rings and valves seals aren't so good any more. http://media.putfile.com/Dyno-Run-6500-RPM

Then they did a 6000 RPM hold and HP test. They even recorder it for future referance. The muffler was OFF and brand new pipe, from the header, all the way out the back was bent and installed. Afterwards, A "Raptor muffler was put on. It sound so sweet now. Kinda has that big V8 tinny "flowmaster" sound now. http://media.putfile.com/Dyno-Run-6000-Rpm

I'll Have video of the FULL exhaust on the "Putfile" site later on today.

Due to "non-disclosure" reasons, I can't tell you why you'll hear these exhaust notes all over the world, until after MAY of this year. It's killing me, not being able to let ya'll in on it but give it a little time.

For those of you who think you know why, Keep it to yourself.:classic:

Dave.

Definitely going to have to watch them again on the desktop that has real speakers, the iBook speakers don't cut it.

But now I need details:

Engine - size, compression, head casting, cam, fuel delivery?

Exhaust - brand and type of header/manifold, tube size, type and brad of muffler(s)?

Hi Arne:

What O/S / Browser/ Software etc are you using? With O/S 10.3.9 and Firefox all I get is the errro message "The Playlist Format Is Not Recognized".

thanks,

Carl B.

I watched them in 10.4.5 in Safari, using the Flip4Mac Quicktime plug-in that allows Safari to play Windows Media files. The plug-in is free, and does run in 10.3.9, as long as your Quicktime is up to date.

This is second nature to me, I support Macs (and XP too) for a living.
