Posted March 14, 200618 yr comment_159342 I just moseyed on over here from HybridZ.org and thought maybe I'd stay awhile. The formats are identical so I don't think I'll have a problem using anything. If anybody in the Stockton Lodi or East Bay area has a spare 280 motor laying around, I'd be interested for a reasonable price. March 14, 200618 yr comment_159343 Hello and welcome to the club. I live in Stockton, but I don't have an extra engine laying around. Send me a pm sometime and maybe we can talk Z's in person or take a drive.Take care,Ben Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19213-hi-everybody/#findComment-159343 Share on other sites

March 14, 200618 yr comment_159346 Howdy and Welcome Wingnut! I happen to have a L28 laying around and live nowhere near you and wouldn't part with it anyway, I have my own plans Jagnew- Ben (v12horse) is running Watanabe's... very sweet and very japanese. Many wheels are similar such as Konig rewinds, Panasport and Mini Lites... but nothing is quite as cool as the Wats. Welcome to both of you. March 15, 200618 yr comment_159350 Jagnew3, I am running RS-Watanabe wheels like Nate said. They are light, well made, and they have that vintage look to them. They are not that hard to find if you take the time to look for a set. I bought mine off of ebay, but I have seen sets on craiglist too. Also, check the RS-Watanabe website. They have a lot of cool pictures of various cars and Z's with different sizes and offsets. www.rs-watanabe.co.jpThanks Nate for the compliments. You should find a set for your georgous 240. Gunmetal wheels looks great with orange Z's. -Ben Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19213-hi-everybody/#findComment-159350 Share on other sites
March 15, 200618 yr comment_159355 Welcome to the club, Wingnut! Finally found a picture of how I'm doing my Watanabes, Ben. Dark grey spokes to match the grill and tail light valance - polished rim. You know the post EricB put up with the picture of the latest issue of Nostalgic Hero magazine? Every Z car featured in the issue is fitted with Wats. March 15, 200618 yr comment_159396 Those look awesome Chris. Are they going to be going on 26th or 27th? The polished lip really makes the wheels pop. -Ben Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19213-hi-everybody/#findComment-159396 Share on other sites
