That puppy is a 1/4 inch thick!

I like the brown car, looks like it could be a good project...

I looks to be aluminum, that would explain the thickness. Aluminum exhaust pipes need to be thicker to withstand the prolonged exposure to high heat without cracking.

hmmmm

did this guy screw up the vin # or ?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/71-Da...QQcmdZViewItem

but the vin # would indicate a 03/70 build date....wouldnt it? not a 71.

rear vents and side markers also indicate a 70....

Yeah, I agree the '71 in Reno looks to be the best of the lot. The '70 in Phoenix (first one) looks pretty well intact and rust-free, just needs some wheels & tires...not bad for 99 cents! :classic:

That one looks nice, but I bet it will sell for $1,000 if not more a week from now when the auction ends. I'm guessing there's no title since it says it's not street legal. Good parts car I suppose.

You can get a title on the car, you just have to go to the revanue office, get a form to fill out and mail it to the Dmv. They will send a policeman to verify everything and run a check on the car. After that their is a 30 day wait, then they mail you your new title
