I am changing from FI to a triple weber setup on my 1979 280zx. I bought this setup from a local guy that got it off of a wrecked 280z, and the linkage was all bent up. Does anyone know where I can get a throttle linkage kit that will work with my fuel injected linkage from the firewall? I'm not sure what type of manifold I have, but it has two uprights built in to the cast manifold, not the drilled and tapped type you see on e-bay.The linkage rod looks like about 3/8 " thick. Any help would be appreciated.

Use a cable. Much easier to figure out. I have a cable from a Nissan truck in my Z, but I had to modify my gas pedal to use it. There are some that you can use that setup entirely within the engine compartment. Toughest part is making a bracket to hold the cable housing end at the carbs, and even that is not tough. What he said! Make a cable conform to a given mechanical path is almost alyawy easeir than making a mutlipiece linkage.
