Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble trying to find a cap and rotor for my 280z electronic distributor. In searching through Bosch catalogues I can only find reference to 240z, 260z and 280zx. I know that the 280z and 280zx distributor differ slightly but I'm not sure if a zx cap and rotor will work with a 280z dizzy. I've called most of the major outlets, Auto one, Repco, Super cheap auto, auto barn and none of them have a listing fo the 280z.

I getting the dizzy recurved as we speak and would like to bung it in the car over the weekend... If I can get my hands on the parts.

While I can't answer your question, seeing as they're cheap parts I'd personally just bite the bullet and buy the ZX items and give it a go.

Well I got the 280zx dizzy cap and rotor and it fits perfectly on the 280z dizzy. Think I got the last one in stock in Brissy:classic:
