Posted March 24, 200619 yr comment_160768 I'm thinking of using these wheels for my 240Z, -Work Rezax 8,5x18 and 10x18. What do you think? It requiers modifying of hubs to convert to 5-stud... March 25, 200619 yr comment_160769 The wheels look great, but I sure hope you have something besides 4 buckets holding that car up! I'd hate for someone to get hurt. March 25, 200619 yr comment_160771 Wheels look great, but I'd have a look for something similar in the right stud pattern to avoid headaches... Make sure the offset and size are correct too of course. What a gorgeous car from Norway! Tell me, is that chameleon paint? March 25, 200619 yr comment_160798 I love the wheels but would prefer a bit more rubber on them. Those are way too low profile for my taste. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19342-work-wheels/#findComment-160798 Share on other sites
March 26, 200619 yr comment_160967 those are huge, i think you might get rub with those, check your offset hehe Could I get some more pics of your car in daylight etc. Im in the process of painting a green 260z and I need to keep it in the green color side. thanks R Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19342-work-wheels/#findComment-160967 Share on other sites

Haha.. -there isn't even any suspension on the car, it rests on ramps, so the buckets are only to hold up the wheels... The color is Audi's "Emerald Green Pearl" LZ6U Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19342-work-wheels/#findComment-160983 Share on other sites

March 26, 200619 yr comment_161018 See John C's comments about suspension travel and chassis dynamics when you go to 18" wheels (wheels, tires, suspension-forums). I'd have to agree; They look great great but you probably won't like the ride or performance. I wouldn't go larger than 17" and that is pushing it. The entire suspension will be modyfied to handle it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19342-work-wheels/#findComment-161033 Share on other sites
March 26, 200619 yr comment_161035 I like the wheels, but I think the geometry is all wrong i.e. thought z's were 4 lug, I spent three months tracking down suitable replacement rims for my 74' 260Z and i ended up with panda sport powdercoated billit wheels. I guess if you where to somehow upgrade the spindle berrings and brake system you could put whatever you wanted on the car.
