I have the larger toyota 4x4 brakes and have no problems. Right now I do not have my hub dust caps on. I will try to alter them later. If anyone knows of dust cap alternatives let me know. I would like to keep those centercaps.

Which Toyota brakes are you running, the vented, or non-vented? How much clearance is there between the caliper face and the wheel? What brand of tires did you go with?

I went out this weekend and so far so good. Rear is fine and has plenty of room. The fronts are close to my valance but I have not felt, seen or heard the tire hit it. I will go for a little more of a spirited drive and if it a new problem rises I will post. The closest part is the lower perch. It is 1/4 inch or so from the tire where it seats with the wheel. The tire shop said if it doesnt rub now it shouldnt later.

Try backing down a hill with a hard turn, like out of a driveway. Or backing and turning hard on to a side hill. Usuall the right front has additional caster, so back to the right as if turning to the left. If I am going to rub, those are the conditions where I will rub.

Those wheels are tempting!
