March 27, 200619 yr comment_161110 Too many unknowns to give you any idea. Go see it, if you can find a member who is local to you and take him/her along. If you don't have a local member, take your camera with you, dress to crawl around in the dirt, and take and post lots of pictures. We keed to see the conditions of the exterior of the car, console, dash, frame rails, floors, the hatch, its shelf, the dog legs, id plates and the vin# (ds door jam, pass side eng. compartment, near the brake master cyl.) Some of these pictures will tell more if taken from the bottom of the car up.WIllPS, I saw one six months ago that looked good from 40 feet, but was a real mess under the paint, bondo, and mismatched parts... March 27, 200619 yr comment_161111 Start low and work up. See if the fish will bite. Also, I would suggest taking a look at it before giving him a firm offer. March 27, 200619 yr comment_161113 There is no way to even guess a price without more info, unless of course it has a title and $200 will buy it AND it's close to where you live. Title? Rust? (How much and where?) Wheels? How badly do you want it? Original motor and running gear? Color?(in and out) Mainly it's the rust, the rust, how bad does it appear to be, you can't see all of it but if you CAN see a bunch then there is probably a lot more. That will decide is it's a fix up and drive, restore or a parts car. How's that for a no answer answer? Need more info, at least my little mind does. March 27, 200619 yr comment_161121 I'd suggest a search of the archives to learn more about what you should look for when/if you go look at it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19388-1971-240z-price/#findComment-161121 Share on other sites
