Yea, those are nice! I love B&W photography. Have you tried to use the Sepia mode? I'm not sure if your camera has one or not, but, that mode is pretty fun.

I normally take all of my photos at full color and then tweak the photo when I get home using a graphics program. Many of the new programs have ways of filtering or doing cool things to your photos.

Nice pics. What camera? I just sold my Nikon D70 and bought a D200. It has the black & white mode built in.

I have found that one of my favorite views of a 240 is looking towards the front as I put gas in the tank. The shape and flow of the fender and hood make for a very appealing image but I lack the skills to do the picture right. Maybe you can.......

I can get a visual image of that picture.. Been there done that?:cheeky:

I have a few B&W photos to share of my own. These were taken old-style with regular B&W 35mm film a few years ago. They appear a little on the dark side because they had to be scanned.

I love B& W photography. In fact, I have a number of framed Ansel Adams pictures in my office where I work. I think it would be great if a member took some b&w digital pics of an original Series I 240Z with the original "D" hubcaps and a beautiful model standing next to the car with a late '60s hairdo and mini-skirt! ....or maybe a picture(s) like this already exists somwhere in the old Datsun advertising archives!

I actually got it at Best Buy (body only) for $1699 with 18 months interest free financing. I like it so far. Lots to learn on the setup.

Gotta question for you - I've got a '73 that could use some fresh rear quarter panel badges - do you know if those '70-'71 "240Z" badges will work without modification?

The mounting post pattern on the "240Z" rear 1/4 badging is a smaller width than the later round "Z" badging. Mainly because of the air vent hole. If you weld in a piece of metal to fill the hole, you can make it work. But then you lose your cabin venting.

Too bad. On the bright side, that now gives me an excuse to look for a second Z for the garage! :stupid:
