Posted April 5, 200618 yr comment_162372 I know there is a lot of converted 280's out there. But there mostly double webers. So guys how many triple wbers have you seen on a 280Z and if you haven't how do you think it would look. April 6, 200618 yr comment_162383 It would look the same as it does on a 240 or 260. Matter of fact, it would look exactly the same. I can recall seeing alot of "triple duece" powered L-28 engines in GT-2 and the later days of C-production racing. April 6, 200618 yr comment_162384 Double Webers would be downdraft DGV's. Triple Webers would be side drafts like 40DCOE's. It is done and has been done all the time. I hope you're not talking about triple downdrafts! Double is bad enough. April 6, 200618 yr comment_162405 Three side drafts - normal. How about three IDFs? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19517-how-many-triple-webbers-have-you-seen-on-a-280z/#findComment-162405 Share on other sites
April 6, 200618 yr comment_162408 That would have the same problems as a triple SU setup, but it would have the added issue of the question mark manifold shape which is really not good. I don't know that anyone has ever done it, but it would be a big waste of time, $$$, and effort IMO.
