April 7, 200618 yr comment_162593 Yeah they are pretty similar in design style. Some of the other Nissans of the era are similar too. Here are some pictures of an American one (note the fabulous bumpers) that was on eBay in October 2004 Very much an oddball car, but I think they are great. Quite futiuristic from some angles... and from others, well.... April 9, 200618 yr comment_162807 oh please don't use the u.s. version (the light blue in pics) the s10 silvia was called a 200sx here in the states, and was severely uglified with by the nixon bumpers the car was powered by an l-series 4cyl. and had a live rear axle more mechanical parts shared with the a10 series but the styling definitely an evolution of the c110 coupe Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19533-nissan-c110-knockoff/#findComment-162807 Share on other sites

July 27, 200618 yr comment_176242 Interesting ... got some pretty MEAN flared guards too. Kind of 944 style. I wonder what kind of suspension setup they use and if they're similar to anything else. Couldn't be too easy a task to do it up... :| Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19533-nissan-c110-knockoff/#findComment-176242 Share on other sites
August 29, 200618 yr comment_180327 Nissan had a bit of a theme going on in the 70's The cherry had a bit of C110 style too. Check out the shape of the side rear windows. August 29, 200618 yr comment_180374 Unusual for Nissan at the time, the Cherry was FWD! They certainly were a little experimental (in terms of design) back then Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19533-nissan-c110-knockoff/#findComment-180374 Share on other sites
