Posted April 9, 200618 yr comment_162848 Ones in Motorsport and "British" catalogues go for over $100. Ones on Ebay are rediculously cheap even after shipping. Is quality or design that much different on Ebay ones? Would appreciate any comments on experiences with either Motorsport, etc. or the Ebay ones. Thanks guys, Mark Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19564-cold-air-induction-for-non-turbo-280zx/ Share on other sites
April 9, 200618 yr comment_162849 I've never seen one that I liked. The tube on any kit I've seen for them never seems to be long enough to mount the filter in the center of the car. Seems that a lot more thought is put into the design for the FWD cars and the later cars than for the 280z/280zx. We discussed that in a thread a while back. If I could find a 70mm aluminum elbow, I'd make my own. Still looking. April 13, 200618 yr comment_163269 Like I said, the tube is too short. In my opinion the filter should be more toward the center of the car. JMO.
